Why are these courses free of charge to the community?

To give all a free and fair chance at higher education, people are feeling left behind and powerless when they try to complete a simple task on a computer and know that they have to either find a friend to assist them or make use of a local internet cafe.

So many people can not compete for jobs because they simply do not have the skills that the position requires, with this course our students feel more empowered and able to apply for jobs that require computer skills. Can you imagine running your business with no computer skills at all? there are still people in our community who don’t have access to computers and don’t know even the basic of tasks.

We have partnered with The Ulwazi Computer Training Academy, they will supply us with the assessments and their own Assessor, this is to promote fairness and to eliminate cheating during assessments. They have supplied us with their accreditation and learning material as well. We are extremely excited for this opportunity to return free computer skills development to our town and surrounding area.

The courses will become free of charge as a community project once sponsorship has been established, if you are interested in the above courses or in sponsoring our project please contact us for more information.
